Recent Accounting Pronouncements Not Yet Adopted In December 2023, the FASB issued ASU No. 2023-09, Income Taxes (Topic 740): Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures, which expands disclosures in an entity’s income tax rate reconciliation table and disclosures regarding cash taxes paid both in the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions. The update is effective for annual periods beginning after December 15, 2024, and subsequent interim periods, with early adoption permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the impact that this guidance will have on its consolidated financial statement disclosures. In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU No. 2024-03, Income Statement-Reporting Comprehensive Income-Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses, which is intended to improve the disclosures about specified categories of expenses including purchases of inventory, employee compensation, depreciation and amortization, included in certain expense captions presented in the consolidated statement of operations. This update will be effective for annual periods beginning after December 15, 2026. Early adoption is permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the impact this guidance will have on its consolidated financial statements and disclosures. In July 2025, the FASB issued ASU No. 2025-05, Financial Instruments—Credit Losses (Topic 326): Measurement of Credit Losses for Accounts Receivable and Contract Assets. The guidance provides a practical expedient that can be elected to be applied to accounts receivable and contract assets, which would allow entities to assume that current conditions as of the balance sheet date do not change for the remaining life of the assets when estimating expected credit losses for such assets. Entities are required to apply the guidance on a prospective basis. This update will be effective for the interim and annual periods beginning after December 15, 2025. Early adoption is permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the update to determine the impact the adoption will have on its consolidated financial statements. |
